Changing Yangon in 2005 to 2015

Yangon is the capital of Myanmar before 2005 but Naypyaytaw is the capital of Myanmar now. However Yangon is the most populated city in Myanmar. There is a lot of job opportunity, so every person come to find their future in this place. Therefore Yangon is more and more become a big city.
There are many new districts were created by government. Moreover the government changed their economic politicals, so many foreign investments came to Myanmar. There are many industrial zones evolve in suburban area of Yangon, so most people can get job easily.
The government allow to open many institutes and technological Universities in Myanmar. And then many private schools and international schools were allowed to open. The government can create to buy a car for every family. There are many new buildings and many construction sites in Yangon. The government can create many opportunities for their citizens.
But, on the other side, traffic jam is very bad problem in Yangon because all main roads are lying along the north to south direction. Sue Lay is downtown area of Yangon and most business offices are there. In the morning, everybody come out and take their bus and then go to work toward the downtown area. Therefore everybody lost many times on the way every morning and every evening.
Therefore, the government built many flying bridges. But it doesn't absolutely solve this traffic jam problem. The government should improve public transportation system. Moreover the government should define no allow private car area and should create car parking near the public transportation area. And then there should be recreation area near the public transportation site.
Good changing always bring pleasure,it is a goog thing can control changing. Avery body is always hopping good changing in everythings of Yangon .

I spent my time almost in the village house when i was young. I have only one younger brother but twelve cousins. We spent our time together happily. When I was 7 years old, my father transferred to another town. I am very happy for new place but really sad for my cousins.
We traveled by boat first and then we take a bus to reach this town. On the way, we went through two tunnels and we slept at night on the road because security gate not allowed to pass through between 6 pm to 6 am. The town lie between the border of Myanmar and Bengal. 95 percent of citizens are Bengali and reminded are Rakhine and barmar. This town is called Moungdaw. Most citizens are very rich because they are merchants. At nigh,we can see adjacent city of Bengal under the electric light. We can travel to Bengal by boat along the Net river.
When I was 10 years old, my mother and I visited to adjancent city of Bengal. We go together with our neighbor, they can Speak Bengali but we can't. We left at 6am from Moungdaw and arrived at 7am to foreign city. It is borderline small city but the city is very nice. All roads are wide and clean. There are no high rise building in Myanmar at that time but I saw many high rise buildings in this city. We visit around the city by tricycles. On the road, every people looked around us, because they never seen Myanmar's women with longyi. I saw two storied buses on the road, but I never seen this buses untill 2016 in Myanmar. We also visted beautiful six storied hotel and new haspital with beautiful landscape.
And we went to market, there are many colorful clothes. And we bought beautiful carpets and clothes . And then my mother bought beautiful earrings and necklaces for me. Moreover, We bought some pots and sweets for my brother..  We visited all day and we came back to Myanmar at 4 pm. Now I am 39 years old, I forgot the name of city but I never forgot this trip.

Shitthaung Temple

Shitthaung Temple

Shitthaung Temple is one of the most interesting pagoda of Mrauk U. The temple was built by king Minbargyi  to commemorate his conquest of Bengal in 1535-1536. It is located on the western face of Phokhoung Hill and about the half mile to the north of the Royal Palace. It is believe that 84,000 of Buddha images are enshrined in it, so that it was called Shitthaung.
It is typical of the many Buddhist temples found in Myanmar. The whole temple is made of sandstone. At the east of the temple, there is an addition of new tazaung/vestibule and long stair about 75 years old. There is a central bell shape stupa surrounded by four smaller stupa at the corner of the roof of the temple. Moreover, a group of smaller stupas are surrounding them. So rain water quickly fall down to the ground.

It has amazing plan. There is a central hall at the heart of the temple, which can be easily access from the vestibule. Hundreds of Buddha status line in the main hall/vestibule. Some of them laid their original positions, and other moved from near excavation sites. The Shitthaung’s most famous character is three layers of maze-like corridors that encircle the main hall. The three corridors contain countless of Buddha’s images, Devas, Guardian spirits and Arankanese culture, animals both real and mythical.
Inner corridor is more narrower than two outer corridors. At the end of the inner corridors, there is a small chamber especially for meditation of king and queen. The real purpose of the pagoda was for prayer. Some of the king’s ceremonies were usually held secretly. At the back of the temple, there are one open hall and a small room for important
It was constructed six feet thick of solid sandstone and like rock cave tunnel. No mortar was used in the construction. The roof of temple have been damaged by monsoon rain. To prevent this, the local archaeological department hastily poured concrete over the temple. This prevented the statues inside from being destroyed, but it also destroyed the outer appearance of the temple.
We should protect the ancient style of the whole temple. Shitthaung’s festival is always held at the end of the April or at the fist of the March. It is the heart of Rakhine People.
